Oh this is an awesome idea. Unrelated, but I did my first Forzathon and it was awesome! We had a solid 10-11 people going through it and it was cool. Even just the waiting around, waiting for the event to begin, was cool, since everyone decided to be cute and line up their cars side by side. Edit: wow you're the first person I've ever known that also knows the band No More Kings haha. Awesome, hope we can get a bunch of people here to contribute and make some great playlists. Yeah, No More Kings is awesome. Been a big fan ever since I first heard Sweep the Leg years ago. The more time I spend with the game, and the more I drift around, the more disappointed I get at so many awesome roads being dirt. I think the better idea would've been to make it so some seasons are dirt roads and others are paved roads. Get out of here with that bullshit. I'm going to keep playing with my Gamepass trial but so far I can say Forza Horizon 3 was more enjoyable. The more time I spend with the game, and the more I drift around, the more disappointed I get at so many awesome roads being dirt. What pissed me off even more about the drift zones was that one zone is literally one regular sweeping turn. Not even some kind of challenging turn... Turn 10 is surprised a lot of people are using the new drift updates for Forza Motorsport 7, because of that they are planning more updates going in that direction. It wouldn't surprise me if PG is completely oblivious to how big the drifting community for FH is and they're being left out to dry. Maybe try joining that club and maybe he'll end up sending you an invite too? I was doing a race earlier and it had a ramp. If you didn't make that jump, you were just fucked and stuck at an earlier part of the race or something so I'd just restart. The second lap of the first time I did that race, a drivatar rammed me from the side right before the ramp and down I went. The next time a drivatar drove in front of me and for some reason slammed on the brakes. He didn't make the jump either obviously, but Goddamnit did that really piss me off. I can agree with a lot of the things you're saying and there's definitely some huge issues with how this handles progression and difficulty curve or lack thereof, but the thing is, I still can't put it down. I'm hitting 40 hours of playtime soon and I don't really play driving games that much. Yep, a custom radio station with Spotify would have been great for sure. It was a great feature in 3 with Groove Music, even if there were some real bad issues in the beginning maybe still are with music volume constantly changing or songs skipping to the next one or only playing one song constantly. My guess is Spotify probably didn't want it? I see no reason why PG wouldn't have asked them. Or maybe they really didn't. For everyone using Spotify - to get around the in-game music clashing with your own during the pre and post race sections, you'll want to do the following. This way the radio will actually stay off, and can enjoy your curated playlist of certified bangers without any more distractions! Purchasing a wheelspin from the Forzathon shop costed 10 points. Now they increased it to 40!!!!!???? So many silly cosmetics in them they shouldn't be so expensive. And 150 for a super wheelspin is too much. Only reason I was doing the Forzathon Live. Might as well stop. I hope they revert these changes. Oh and can we have A TON more forzathon challenges? Waaaaay too little as it is. Tell me about it! My buddy who's on PC was lamenting about not having enough cash to buy Forza. I told him to grab a couple of months of Gamepass and he couldn't believe that it was possible. So I get disconnected from Horizon Life after each event with my convoy The convoy itself is not split up but every member is kicked from Horizon Life and the leader has to look for a new session. And one of my friends straight up cant join any event even though he can connect with us on Horizon Life and convoys, as soon as an event starts he gets booted from the session. I noticed that 1st and 2nd would separate from the pack in most races, and I was struggling to have a podium finish. I was slightly hesitant to switch to manual but seeing posts about how much better it is, I'll give it a shot! I think only yesterday you said you were enjoying everything about the game apart from the cringey emotes. Now it seems you've settled on the 'what in the world were they thinking' angle after some posters started venting about their issues with the game. Nobody cares about you raining on their parade but at least be consistent mate. I started playing yesterday. The amount of time I put in yesterday clearly wasn't enough to see the things that have left a bad taste in my mouth after the time I'm put into the game today. I expected things to ramp up like they have in previous games and... I expected a lot more showcases than what I got. I also hoped for some bucket list challenges... So I'm missing things that I very much enjoyed in previous entries. Being consistent with opinions on videogames? That's a new one... Your opinion on a game doesn't need to be the same as it was on day 2 as it was on day 1. If you 100% enjoy the game as it is and wouldn't change a thing then rock on, it doesn't stop other people discussing things that they've found to disappoint them. On the bright side, changing cars is free now, so just do it before starting a race.
